Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Duneside's website or application (collectively, the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Platform Description

Duneside is a web-based read-only analytics and reporting platform designed for marketing and advertising agencies. The Platform aggregates advertising performance data from connected third-party accounts to produce client reports, dashboards, and consolidated multi-channel insights.

Duneside is not an advertising network, media seller, click generator, account reseller, or arbitrage operator.

3. Advertising Account Authorization

By connecting a Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, or other third-party account, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have lawful authority and permission to access and share data from that account.
  • You are connecting the account voluntarily for analytics and reporting purposes.
  • You understand Duneside requires access to advertising performance and analytics data only.

You retain full ownership and control of your advertising accounts. Duneside does not take ownership of, transfer, or resell your accounts.

4. Permitted Use of Advertising APIs

When you authorize Duneside to access your Google Ads account, our use of the Google Ads API is limited to read-only retrieval of:

  • Campaign-level performance metrics
  • Account-level statistics
  • Metrics including cost, clicks, impressions, conversions, CTR, CPC, and ROAS
  • Historical performance data for user-selected reporting periods

This data is used solely to generate advertising performance reports and provide consolidated reporting across multiple marketing channels. Full details are available on our Google Ads Account Handling page.

Meta Ads access is similarly limited to read-only insights retrieval as described on our Meta Ads Account Handling page.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console access is limited to read-only retrieval of analytics and search performance data as described on our GA4 Account Handling and Search Console Account Handling pages.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party platform policy.
  • Connect accounts you do not have authority to access.
  • Submit fraudulent enquiries, scrape competitor data, or misrepresent your agency.
  • Attempt to bypass security controls, reverse engineer the Platform, or conduct unauthorized penetration testing.
  • Use Duneside data or integrations to generate artificial traffic, clicks, or conversions.
  • Resell, sublicense, or arbitrage advertising accounts or inventory through the Platform.

Duneside does not and will not use connected APIs to perform ad creation, bid management, budget modifications, audience changes, or any other campaign management actions.

6. No Campaign Management

The Platform is designed solely for analytics and reporting. Duneside does not, through any integrated API:

  • Create, edit, or delete advertising campaigns, ad groups, ads, or keywords.
  • Modify bids, budgets, targeting, or creative assets.
  • Pause, enable, or otherwise change the operational state of live campaigns.

Any changes to your advertising accounts must be made directly within the respective advertising platform or by your authorized personnel.

7. Third-Party Platform Compliance

Your use of Duneside integrations is also subject to the terms and policies of the connected platforms, including but not limited to:

  • Google Ads API Terms of Service and Google API Services User Data Policy
  • Google Analytics API Terms and Google API Services User Data Policy
  • Google Search Console API Terms of Service
  • Meta Platform Terms and Marketing API policies

You are responsible for compliance with those third-party terms. Duneside is not liable for actions you take on third-party platforms or for data shared without proper account authorization.

8. Account Disconnection

You may disconnect or remove connected accounts at any time from Clients → [Client name] → Integrations on the Duneside platform. When you disconnect, Duneside stops retrieving new data for that connection, removes the stored integration, and deletes synced performance data associated with that integration within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Additional platform-specific steps (including revoking access with Google or Meta) are documented on:

If you cannot access your Duneside account, follow the revocation steps on the platform-specific pages above. You may email support@useduneside.com to request confirmation of account removal and associated data deletion.

9. Intellectual Property

Duneside, including its name, logos, software, user interface, and documentation, is the exclusive property of its owners. You retain ownership of your client data, compiled reports, and metrics imported from accounts you lawfully control.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Duneside disclaims warranties of uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Duneside shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Platform.

Duneside's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Duneside for the Platform in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

Duneside is not liable for losses arising from your connection of third-party accounts, actions taken on those platforms outside Duneside, or unauthorized access resulting from compromised credentials on your end.
